Mark Bingham’s remarkable story focuses on his astonishing legacy as a pioneer of gay rights and equality both on and off the rugby field. 17 years on from his selfless sacrifice aboard Flight 93 on September 11th 2001, we remember his contributions to rugby which live on today in the form of the Bingham Cup – the world’s largest amateur tournament.
